Online College Students Report

In developing the eighth edition of this report, I knew I needed a bold color palette. Being a substantial report (at 60 pages) and relying heavily on data, it was important to have the color flexibility to really showcase the many tables, charts, and graphs, alongside the main content and recommendations callouts.

Once the design of the report was finalized, I then got the opportunity to conceptualize and develop a printed infographic. I have created plenty of infographics, traditionally digital, but this was the first time getting to create a printed version. After lots of research, I landed on a fun and unique, interactive piece that combines an accordion with a gate fold configuration.

With the print format established, I got to work on the layout of the content and data. The theme was space and the color palette, bold. Incorporating the charts and design elements from the report into the infographic, while adding in unique space-themed illustrations, really brought this piece to life. I love the element of surprise and being able to pull open the accordion-folded paper to reveal the full infographic. Bonus points: this showpiece beautifully stands up on its own.
